French/English translation and interpreting services

Translation is written, and interpreting is spoken! You can’t “speak through a translator,” no matter what a radio newscaster tells you! I provide both translation and interpreting services; details below!

French/English interpreting

I provide French/English (spoken) interpreting for court systems, law firms, and businesses, available remotely and in person. I’m certified by the Colorado courts, and I hold a Master’s degree in conference interpreting.

French to English translation

Certified by the American Translators Association, I translate for law firms, NGOs, and individuals, including certified translations of personal and official documents.

Writing and teaching

Through my online training platform, Training for Translators, I write books and teach classes for freelance translators and interpreters who want to do better work, earn more money, and get more enjoyment out of their jobs.

FAQ about my translation and interpreting services

Do you take emergency/rush projects?

Yes, if I’m available! The best way to verify my availability is by e-mail, corinne@translatewrite.com

What's the difference between translation and interpreting?

Translation is written, and interpreting is spoken. Contrary to what radio newscasters might try to tell you, you can’t “speak through a translator.” I provide both French to English translation and French<>English interpreting services.

Do you translate personal/official documents?

Yes! Lots of translators avoid working with individuals and I actually love it! For a quote to translate a birth/marriage/divorce/death certificate, educational records, real estate documents, etc., send me an e-mail at corinne@translatewrite.com
