About me, focused on you

Reliable, professional, dedicated–that’s how clients describe my French/English translation and interpreting services. With over 20 years of experience, I’m here to help ensure your next project is a success!

Certified, trained, and professional

After earning a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in French, I launched my freelance translation business in 2002, and became certified by the American Translators Association for French to English translation in 2003. I focused exclusively on written translation until 2019, when I passed the Colorado Judicial Branch’s French court interpreter certification exam, followed by a Master of Conference Interpreting from Glendon College in 2021. I now translate and interpret for clients in the U.S., Canada, and Europe and I am a dual U.S.-Switzerland citizen.

Based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, my outside-the-office interests include skiing, hiking, mountain biking, yoga, and fostering stray and abandoned cats. I’m a mediocre but enthusiastic student of the cello and the Renaissance lute. My book, How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator, has sold more than 15,000 copies in three editions, and I served on the Board of the American Translators Association for seven years, including as ATA President from 2017-2019.
